Content is the core of your message—and your brand

Content marketing is the marketing strategy of distributing relevant, valuable, and consistent content to a targeted audience to ultimately drive revenue. In a world that’s becoming increasingly more complex, how do you reach the right people at the right time with the right message? The answer is simple—you tell a story.

Why does storytelling make a difference? You can connect with people on an emotional level. Stories can make people feel joy, sadness, excitement, empathy—and feeling something sticks around longer than knowing something. In fact, research suggests that storytelling can increase conversions by 30%!

The core of your content marketing is going to stem from solid copywriting. You can craft beautiful images and videos all day long, but if you’re not talking to your audience, your message isn’t going to reach them. It’s true that you can type a prompt into AI chatbots or systems like ChatGPT to generate the message for you, but AI isn’t going to know your audience like you do. It won’t be able to tell your brand story like you can.

That’s why storytelling is such an integral part of the content marketing process, and I can help you bring your story to life!

Content Marketing & Writing

  • Copywriting

Copywriting is found in all forms of marketing, from blog posts to social media captions to newsletters to scripts for television and radio. At the Landmark Resort, I’m responsible for writing all the blog posts for our website recommending guests to visit our resort and see what’s happening around Door County.

  • Academic Writing

My thesis explores the ongoing debate between the freedom of speech on college campuses versus the freedom from oppression of marginalized people. Both perspectives are reviewed and analyzed, and possible solutions are offered.

  • Creative Writing

Oh, Glory is a novel that I began in college for my creative writing capstone class. In her critique, my professor said, “This could—and I think I’ve only said this to one other student before… ever—be a publishable book.” A dream of mine is to become a published author, and I hope this is the start of that journey.
