Graphic Design

If pictures are worth a thousand words, imagine the stories a carefully crafted and stunning graphic can tell!

They say to not judge a book by its cover, but first impressions matter.

An image is often going to be the first thing that someone notices about your brand. Whether that image is your logo, a social media post they happen to scroll past, or a billboard on the highway, they all need to be doing the exact same thing—telling your brand story. Most importantly, that brand story needs to be the same across all platforms at all times so your audience gets a feel for who you are right off the bat. That’s where your relationship begins.

Where copywriting is the core of your message, graphic design is the heart of your brand. We can work together to craft a brand guide that will set the tone for your ideal consumer, give you a voice, and bring a personality to your brand. From there, we can design a logo to give a face to your business. Finally, we’ll craft stunning graphics and images for a first impression with a lasting impact!

Branding is in the eye of the beholder.

Branding and graphic design go hand in hand. You can’t have one without the other. Your audience needs to recognize your logo and your brand from a mere glance. A good logo grabs attention, makes a strong first impression, is the foundation of your brand identity, separates you from the competition, fosters trust and brand loyalty, and is expected from most consumers.

As a member of Open Door Pride in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, I designed the logo for the IDEA Scholarship granted to high school senior students whose efforts have helped make our community a more welcoming place to live and visit.

In designing the logo, the Open Door Pride president requested that “IDEA” be incorporated into the design, as well as the words “Inclusivity,” “Diversity,” “Equality,” and “Accessibility.” The lightbulb is a visual representation of an idea, and the rainbow pride colors refer to the organization providing the scholarship. The added heart inside the lightbulb emphasizes the care and passion that these students demonstrate for our community and for each other.
